The cap is made of sturdy plastic, it has raised edges on the side. This allows you to tighten the cap securely, even if your hands are sweaty from training. We have also provided the drinking spout with a twist cap, including raised edges for grip. Many shakers have a cap that you have to press closed, but these have the disadvantage that they often come loose during shaking. This produces a lot of junk. How do you use a shake cup?
Using a shaker cup is very simple. However, it is important that you do it right, otherwise you will drink lumps.
- Fill with ice if you want the protein shake to stay cold all day.
- Pour about 1/4 of the intended liquid into your cup. You can use milk, water, coffee or juice. Don't pour all the liquid in or you may end up with lumps;
- Measure out the powder and add it to the shaker on top of the liquid;
- If necessary, supplement with other ingredients, such as muesli, oats, coconut flakes or cocoa;
- Add the rest of the liquid to your shaker cup. Use the measuring lines on the side to get the desired amount;
- Tighten the cap on the cup;
- Check whether the drinking cap closes properly.
- Shake to mix everything well.
The handy thing about the shake cup is that you can close the cup. You therefore do not have to drink the entire content within a short time. Keep in mind that a whey protein product is made from milk. You can therefore not store the mix for hours at room temperature or higher.
