The BCAAs or the "branched chain amino acids" are formed by the amino acids L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine. These amino acids are essential, which means that the body cannot make them themselves but that they must be obtained with food. Physical efforts increase the burning of BCAAs. To meet this need, the body can break down muscle tissue. Intake of free form BCAAs results in a very rapid rise of these amino acids in the bloodstream. This prevents catabolism and supports muscle building.
Scitec Nutrition 2: 1: 1 BCAA-X formula contains an extra high dose of L-leucine. Leucine is an amino acid with unique properties. Leucine activates the mTOR signal molecule. mTOR then gives the muscle cell the signal for growth. Leucine also activates PI 3 kinases. This results in a greater uptake of glucose and amino acids in the muscle cell and thereby promotes anabolism.
Take 2 capsules with water or a carbohydrate-rich drink. BCAA-X can be taken before, during and after training. For optimum effect, an extra dose can be added between meals.
